About Us

Dear students and scholars,

Welcome to Yale! On behalf of CUSY, I wish you all a very memorable experience here at Yale University. Since its official registration in the early 1990s, CUSY has been an independent, non-political, and non-profit student organization. Its primary objective is to foster social, intellectual, and cultural exchanges among Chinese students and scholars at Yale University, as well as to extend these opportunities to other members of the broader society. It also endeavors to serve its extensive and expanding membership, by facilitating information exchange between China and overseas Chinese entities. 

In the 2024-2025 academic year, CUSY will diligently strengthen its internal cohesion and amplify its external influence, resuming a multitude of outstanding events in the post-COVID era. Please join us in embarking on this promising new journey! All are welcome!
